Creating space for your deeper, truer and wholistic bliss.

Porcia Chen Silverberg founded Soul Centering Connections to offer space for women determined to learn from their challenges, overcome burnout and explore new directions to create a life they truly love.

About Soul Centering Connections

The Grand Valley offers abundant outdoor adventures and opportunities to get away from it all. Soul Centering Connections in Grand Junction is another place to get away - a local enterprise focused on building community and tending wellbeing for women. Not a book club, church or happy hour - – but a place of peace -- balm for our wounds and tonic for our souls. It is nonpartisan, non-religious, inclusive of all women and their champions.

Are you ready to be on the other side of type-A perfectionism, overachieving, and striving to be good enough? Ready to rest from the relentless and endless to-do list? How about getting away to relax into your bliss, breathe deeply, and adopt a philosophy of slow doing.

Inspired by the Slow Food movement, which is all about food that has been prepared with care, using high-quality local and seasonal ingredients. I think of Slow Doing as living intentionally, mindfully and purposefully.

Porcia Chen Silverberg

Founder, Soul Centering Connections

Creative Depth Coach

Porcia is a seasoned community builder who is passionate about facilitating meaningful gatherings through creative programs.

She has used these skills in a variety of roles – as a nonprofit leader, TV show host, leadership coach, and healing circle founder, among others. She shares some of her successful strategies in her engaging and practical book - Gatherings for Greatness (2019).

In her position as Executive Director for Thrive, The Alliance of Nonprofits for San Mateo County, she grew an influential organization by cultivating vibrant networks and diverse relationships – and using her excellent facilitation skills with groups from 3 to 500.

She leveraged that experience to create You Belong Here Foundation, focused on video and in-person multi-cultural collaborations for truth telling, fostering sisterhood and expanding a community of highly successful women leaders.

Porcia now brings her many gifts – and a focus on women’s empowerment and healing - to Soul Centering Connections. Her mission is to meet the growing need for busy women to “pause and reflect” and invite inner growth and meaningful connection – in her beautiful space in Grand Junction, Colorado, retreat settings, and remotely.

She brings her personal motto – “Bloom where you are planted” to her work with women who share her desire for responding to the challenges of life with an intentional and welcoming embrace.
